<p>Yesterday was a maintenance day.</p>
<p>Activities during the maintenance included:<br />
* GEM experts went to the Hall, L14 M0 and M1 decoupled (power supply), isobutane mixture flow was connected to L13 M1 and L15 M1, the MPD on vtp4 fiber24 was swapped out. Details here: <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441606">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441606</a><br />
* New alarm added for the BB gas manifold pressure, as two GEM modules are now using an Ar:CO2:Isobutane mixture.<br />
* Kip went down to the Hall to replace an HV card in ECal but decided it did not need to be replaced.</p>
<p>Major Activities after the maintenance:<br />
* GEM experts did the first half of isobutane gas test: <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441662">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441662</a><br />
* Around 18:50 beam recovery started. However, MCC was unable to deliver CW beam due to software issue that occurred after the Compton and Moller dipole swap. Software people were called, and the problem was resolved around 22:00. Here is the summary: <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441802">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441802</a><br />
* MCC informed the shift crew that the harp scans were unnecessary. We proceeded with beam-centering check, first with the 2x2 raster (<a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441848">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441848</a>), and then with the 4x4 raster (<a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441857">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441857</a>). The plots looked similar to those from August 10.<br />
* Kip and Jhi-Yang started ECal gain coefficients calibration with the 65% threshold. After that, we are running with ~92% lifetime.<br />
* Production data taking started around 1:00 AM. The second half of GEM isobutane gas test happened parasitically throughout the owl shift (<a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441975">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441975</a>). The experts report that the GEM performance is promising. There was no beam for about 3 hrs during owl due to 0L04 dropping HV (<a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441997">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441997</a>).</p>
<p>Plan for today:<br />
The Hall C pass change started at 8:30 AM and is expected to take up to 8 hrs or less. After that, MCC will continue beam delivery with no planned maintenance activities. Hall A is in beam permit and will remain so.</p>
<p>Since yesterday's Day to today's owl:<br />
* Total Accumulated Charge at Kin3 so far: 82.37 C (Goal: 100 C)<br />
* Total Accumulated Charge at Kin3 since yesterday 8AM : 0.21 C</p>
