Subject: Recent Material Handling Events at DOE Facilities

All,

There have been a number of material handling events in DOE facilities 
recently, some resulting in serious injuries to the workers.  We have 
looked at these events and found some common threads that are applicable 
to our work planning at Jefferson Lab.  Please take the time to review 
the attached.  If your group is involved with moving heavy equipment, 
please share the lessons learned with your group.
