Hello all,

Due to yesterday's power outage machine is down today. We will get more info
by afternoon on recovery efforts and when beams will be available to halls.
For now Hall-B is in restricted access and will stay in that state at 
least till swing
today. I will send another email this afternoon to let you know on hall 
status for
tonight and tomorrow.

Dear HPS,

There was a power outage to the accelerator and counting house this afternoon.

Power was restored within the hour, but it will take some time for the machine to recover.
Stepan has checked the Hall. Vacuum pumps have been restarted. Chillers have also been restarted
for Ecal and SVT, and Sergey will restore computers in the counting house.

Since beams will be off at least until morning, today's Swing shift and tomorrow's Owl shift are cancelled.
Day shift tomorrow is on until further notice, but of course may be cancelled if machine recovery is slow.
I hope to learn more later tonight.
