Last night EV8111CD stopped responding to requested changes in both manual and normal (PID) mode. 
I switched flow control to PV8512T for the overnight at 7g/s and this worked well.
at 09:00 we had a teams meeting with Probir, Brian, Pablo, Denny, Sandesh.
We discussed possibilities and plans to address the problem.
4 of us came into the lab and went to Hall B.
The first thing we tried worked.

It was to disconnect the drive cable clean the connector with alcohol and an air canister to dry it. slide the connector on and off a few times then lock it on and that solved the problem.

This failure mode has happened twice in past month in Hall B. I highly recommend that whenever one can each group put their EV's in manual mode, disconnect the drive cable, do a cleaning process and reconnect. This should be on a scheduled maintenance program once every 1-4 years....
Hall B especially!

Other notes
The torus was full filled by 02:07 this morning, 14 hrs after starting the flow. 
The solenoid is at 65K and cooling at 1.2K/hr

Hall B is taking 7g/s with the flow once again being controlled by EV86111CD
