JLAB Alert: Due to icy on-site conditions, the Jefferson Lab campus will be CLOSED tomorrow, Jan. 26, except for essential personnel.

Employees that have work that can be performed at home shall work remotely. Employees that do not typically work from home should consult with their supervisor to determine if any work can be performed remotely during the closure. If work cannot be performed remotely, employees are directed to use the Weather/Public Emergency leave charge code (Project: WPE, Pay Type: WPE) to account for their normal work hours tomorrow, Jan. 26.

Members of the lab's emergency management team are monitoring the weather forecast and will continue to meet throughout the day to assess site conditions and determine if any changes should be made to the lab's schedule going forward.

If conditions should require an additional delayed opening or lab campus closure this week, the following communication tools are used and should be referenced before heading to work:

-- Look for a scrolling banner message running across the Jefferson Lab website: http://www.jlab.org

-- Check your lab email account.

-- Check your text messages sent to your registered cell phone.

If you are still unsure of the lab's reporting status, check with your immediate supervisor.
