[Hallb-solenoid] Progress P027 Interlocks Checkout List

Hello Amrit,
If you refer to the Torus interlock checkout procedure '-P027' you can see from the comparator breakdown that putting the required voltage to trip C1 will also trip C4, C6, and C10. Of course, being uncoupled from the magnet also increases the baseline noise.
This is true as you work your way through all the comparators. We can be sure that the reports from the DSG will help the team to write a more detailed version of the interlock procedure which can account for each comparator interaction.
Thanks and Best regards,
Nick

excellent work pablo and tyler.
i am confused about the comparators, in that you have to adjust the threshold for those that you are not testing
because of the noise level? do these comparators have a common ground and because of this are picking up ground noise. i think you mentioned that there are 10 comparators, so how many comparators' thresholds have to be changed. is this an empirical solution to the problem, or is there a deeper principle to it? why does this have to be done. how do we know when all comparotors are set at the correct threshold there will be no no noise based interlocks
perhaps, in these reports you may wish to add a line or two of explanation.
talk to you about these matters tomorrow.

Dear Ruben,
After today we have completed 31 tasks, the remaining tasks are with regard to the comparators 1st and 2s threshold, We had issues with Voltage Tap noise and Probir and Nick help to troubleshooting, and it seems that we have to adjust the threshold limits for comparators that we're not testing to completed this test, because of the noise. Tomorrow we will continue the test using the same strategy.
