Dear Colleagues,
Some time ago I asked a number of you to provide me with a one-page
summary of your 2009 CLAS publication(s) as lead author. The one-pagers
are meant to contain a summary of the main results and an interpretation
of the results. They should also have at least one appealing graph or
cartoon of the physics content, and a reference to the publication. They
were originally meant for DOE staffers. However, I think they may also
serve the purpose of distributing our physics among the collaboration
members, and there may be other uses as well. All people I asked have
responded quickly and provided requested information. Thank You!
If you have sent your writeup but can't find it linked to your paper,
please send it again to Dan Carman. Dan has agreed to maintain the web
link for this. We will try to have these one-pagers done for every
puplication that leaves the collaboration. It would be best if the lead
author(s) could prepare the summary before the paper is submitted to the
collaboration for review.
You can find the summaries from the Hall B web page under "CLAS
Publication Summaries". Here is the direct link:
http://www.jlab.org/Hall-B/1page/1page.html .
Check it out! The formats are not consistent, yet. In the future, we
try to have the same format for all summaries, see e.g. #5, 14, 15. If
you want to make changes to your summary, just send a new version to
carman at jlab.org. In the future we may expand this to also include
non-collaboration papers from Hall B related groups. Please let us know
what you think.
Best regards,
Volker Burkert
