Dear Colleagues,

It is with a heavy heart that I give you the very sad news of the 
passing of Alex Koubarovski, son of Valeri and Olga.  Alex, who has been 
a valued colleague of ours and recently held a position as research 
associate at the University of Connecticut died Thursday morning 
apparently from of a heart attack. Our deep felt sympathies go to his 
family.

You will be informed as soon as we learn more about the arrangements 
planned by his family.
