Hi Eugene, Patrick,

I'm hoping to "rattle the cages" of our local people a little and
encourage JLab staff and collaborators to attend the upcoming CHEP
conference in May. The abstract submission deadline is closing
November 28.

I know there is some significant R&D on streaming readout, data
management, and AI/ML supported projects in both of your Halls.
It would be great to have that represented at the CHEP conference.

I'd appreciate it if you could send the blurb below out through your
Hall/Collaboration mailing list(s).

All the best,
-- Brad

---------------------------
I wanted to highlight/remind people to submit abstracts for the upcoming
JLab-hosted "26th International Computing in High Energy & Nuclear
Physics Conference" which will be held in Norfolk from May 8--12, 2023.

This is a high-profile international conference focussed on the
computing, networking and software issues for the world's leading
data‐intensive science experiments that currently analyze hundreds of
petabytes of data using worldwide computing resources. The Conference
provides a unique opportunity for computing experts across Particle and
Nuclear Physics to come together to learn from each other and typically
attracts over 500 participants. The event features plenary sessions,
parallel sessions, poster presentations, and publishes peer-reviewed
proceedings.

Information on topics and registration can be found below. This is an
area of active development within JLab 12 GeV and, of course, for the
EIC. It would be great to have some of the ongoing R&D, LDRD, and other
efforts Hall A/C collaborators are involved in represented.

The main CHEP23 Conference web-site can be found here:

Poster and oral presentation slots are available.

It would be great to see you there, whether as attendee or presenter!
