Good Morning Everyone,

Based on today's MCC meetings update, the injector gun issue downtime is expected for at least 2 days; thus, more shifts are canceled until tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 2nd, Swing shifts. Shifters from tomorrow's swing shift onward are on standby and will be directly contacted.
I will keep you updated with the news and when we will be back to business, hopefully soon!

BTW, to avoid sending another email, we will have a brief RC/OA meeting at 13:00 in CH Room 200C and on ZOOM; see its info below.

I have been contacted by the PD to notify me that due to the injector Gun alarms, see this ELOG incident<https://ace.jlab.org/dtm/open-events?event_id=18458>, a decision was made to turn the beam off for at least the next 24 hours to look into this issue; more details after tomorrow's MCC meetings. I did confirm this decision with the Crew Chief and communicated with the PDL Baltzell in this regard. As a result, today's Swing shift and tomorrow's Owl and Day shifts are canceled; however, tomorrow's Swing shifters are on standby. I will communicate this info directly to the corresponding shift takers. Given the counting house will be unattended, the beamline expert Paysuk was contacted to ramp down the Torus and Solenoid fields.

@ Detectors Experts: please let me know whether you prefer the HV of your subsystems to be turned OFF, so I can do that while I am still in the CH for the next hour or so!
In case anyone would like access to the hall during tomorrow's day shift, please let me know whether you need controlled or restricted access to the hall to change the hall status accordingly. Please either email me or call the RC phone to coordinate that.

I will keep you updated with any news that we may get after tomorrow's MCC meetings.
