Folks,

As announced at the recent CLAS Collaboration meeting, the current RG-D run has been extended until Dec. 15. At that point there will be a beam energy change from 5th pass to 3rd pass to allow for a few days of commissioning associated with the RG-K run. This RG-K commissioning period will continue until the beam is turned off on Dec. 19 for the end of year down. The accelerator schedule was also changed to add two additional weeks of beam time in January so that the RG-K run will start on Jan. 10.

It was agreed that the shifts recently added to the schedule at the end of December and the beginning of January would be filled with volunteers. This email is to request for members of the CLAS Collaboration to step forward to fill the unassigned volunteer shifts. The most urgent need is to fill the open shifts in December (note that the time for beam off on Dec. 19 has not yet been fixed so the shifts go to the end of the day). If you can take one or more of the open shifts, please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks for your attention to this call.

Dec. 18: expert day, swing; worker owl, day, swing
Dec. 19: expert day, swing; worker owl, day, swing
Jan. 10: expert owl, swing; worker owl, day, swing
Jan. 11: expert swing; worker owl, day, swing
Jan. 12: worker owl, day, swing
Jan. 13: worker owl, day, swing
Jan. 14: worker owl, day, swing
Jan. 15: expert owl
Jan. 16: expert owl, swing
Jan. 17: expert owl, swing
Jan. 18: expert owl, swing
