[Hallb] [EXTERNAL] Shift trading

Dear all

You will have seen that all of the cancelled shifts thus far have been moved to extend the end date of the schedule.

I am aware that the cancellation of shifts can cause, and has caused, travel plans to be arranged and indeed now presents some collaborators with future shifts they did not originally account for.

No possible solution was ideal and it was a tough call to make, but based on previous experience of such a situation, it was judged to be the lesser of the evils. In order to provide affected colleagues with their rearrangements and planning, I have extended the Trade period to cover the entire range of the now extended schedule. If you receive a Trade request, please give it your full consideration. Our collaboration has always been very helpful and generous when it comes to such situations.

I could re-open the Swap periods but that has the potential to affect our Domestic and Local collaborators who may also have already locked in their travel plans. Let’s see how the Trading goes over the next week or so.

As always if you have any issues, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Regards
Bryan
