[Hallb] Reduction of Time Accounting to Research

Dear Hall-B Scientists,

to save our precious (non-project) research budget BRES, the following is effective from today for three months:

- Every scientist except postdocs should charge at most 5 % to BRES in their timesheet; in concert you will need to commensurately reduce work on mentoring, analysis and publication development, and PAC proposals; you can charge to your projects (such as LD2507/LD2508 or SPFIDD) as usual or more.

- The above also applies to next week's CLAS Collaboration Meeting or the following ePIC Collaboration Meeting at JLab; the registration fee will be paid from BRES, but you will need to charge your time to BOPS or your project.

- No new travel requests on BRES will be approved through October 2025.

- You are encouraged to take vacations.

- Purchases are restricted to those necessary for operations; feel free to discuss with me your requests.
