[Hallb_svt] Update on UNH Laser Testing Station

Dear Colleagues,

 	It is with pleasure that I am able to announce that the new laser 
for the UNH test stand has arrived, after having been shipped to us 
earlier in the week by Amrit's group.  We have unpacked it, and everything 
looks great.  We will test it once we have completed the necessary 
training and laser registration here at UNH.  We have also received the 
box for our dry storage system (a commercial freezer), and are gathering 
the necessary parts of the gas system for the nitrogen purge.  We have 
also purchased the materials for our new light-tight laser enclosure.  At 
this point, we have our clean room, the laser, and the precision rail 
system, with work being done on the dry storage system, light-tight 
enclosure, and the programming of the DAQ and motion control for the 
rails.  Lots of progress has been made, with more to come!
