[Hallc] Hall C Summer Workshop, August 15-16

To those engaged in Hall C physics and all others:

The 2013 Hall Summer Workshop will be held at Jefferson Lab on Thursday and Friday, August 15-16, 2013.

This two-day meeting will include a wide variety of talks on Hall C experiments, both those completed and recently approved (or encouraged) by the PAC. The status of the 12 GeV project and that of specific activities in Hall C will be discussed. In addition there will be talks that will provide a glimpse into the activities in other halls.

We have put together a special session that will include talks by former Hall C users, Glen Warren, now at the Pacific Northwest National Lab, and Paul McKee, now at Quantitative Investment Management, along with a talk by Gabriel Niculescu of JMU on the challenges of teaching and doing competitive research at an undergraduate institution.

The Hall C Users Group Steering Committee encourages you to make your plans now for the hall C Summer Workshop.
