[Hallc] New VCS proposal for PAC

Dear colleagues,

A new proposal (VCS-II) will be submitted to the JLab PAC, aiming to measure the generalized polarizabilities of the proton in VCS.
You can find the proposal attached.

The proposed measurements follow the steps of the VCS-I experiment that acquired data in 2019 (the results were published in late 2022), as well as the PAC recommendation (PAC-44 report) namely, to return to the PAC for additional beam time upon the completion of VCS-I so that we can continue and extend the physics reach of the VCS program at JLab.

We would like to ask that you send your comments and suggestions on this proposal within the next 2 weeks, namely by Wednesday May 3rd.
