The present EMC and X>1 experiment is running well. But it can use shift workers.
To those that have taken shifts, please consider taking a few more.
If you have not taken shifts , then you are more than welcome to join the experiments.
The D(eep) experiment will run starting on Feb 20th. Shift workers are also needed.
If you are planning to take part in the DVCS and SIDIS experiments using the Neutral
Particle Spectrometer that will run in the next run period and
have not run in Hall C recently, then it is a great opportunity to take shifts and
get experience.

Speaking of the NPS experiments, the NPS Collaboration is have a meeting this week.
Below is their announcement. New collaborators are welcome to take part in the meeting
and get involved with the experiment.

A reminder that our NPS Collaboration Meeting will take place Thursday and Friday (February 2-3) at Jefferson Lab. The meeting is open to anyone interested and we hope to see many of you in-person. Please feel free to forward this email to anyone you think should be there. This is our last collaboration meeting before the experiments start this summer - a busy and exciting time and there is much to discuss!

Please note the meeting room locations:
Thursday: ARC231/233
Friday: L210A (Cebaf center)

The agenda can be found here:
https://wiki.jlab.org/cuawiki/index.php/NPS_Collaboration_Meeting_(online,_2/2_2023)
For those that cannot travel a zoom link will be available.
The first day will focus on detector status and new physics ideas with NPS. On the second day we will discuss the steps towards running the first phase of experiments this summer, i.e., the installation plan, checkout with beam, run plan, and preparations for the final readiness review.
