      After a long time, the SHMS NIM paper is almost in a position to

      be submitted. <br>

      <br>

      I have made various edits, added new plots and re-arranged some

      material based upon the version that was available a few years

      ago.<br>

      <br>

      I have attached a pdf of the latest version of the paper. Please

      read through the draft and send any comments, feedback or

      corrections to myself or Mark Jones.<br>

      <br>

      In the interest of finally getting the paper submitted, <b>please

        send your comments by EoD (Eastern) on the 1st of July 2024.</b>

      Note that some plots or sections need updating/adding and these

      are noted in blue text on the paper.<br>

      <br>

      If you have access to the overleaf, please feel free to make

      changes to the document directly.<br>
