After the investigation of x-y coupling issues yesterday, progress has been made. x-y coupling especially in x from y2 coupling has been reduced by factor 2 while some coupling persists (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3532594). This seems to paid off by reducing the spot sizes on 3H07 to smaller than 300 micron (see the latest harp scan from this morning https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3532821, https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3532822)

However, it did not resolve the high current delivery issues. After the tune-up, beam was first sent to Hall C without other halls, but the max current was as high as ~25uA (not stable). CW beam to all halls was finally delivered after 4am, but Hall A and C currents were limited by BLM trips. HallC had 6 uA due to BLM trips in NE spreader area.

As of this morning, MCC had a meeting to make a plan to move forward. Beam has been taken away for investigation of the BLMs. We will hear more as the investigation proceeds. Stay tuned.

We will meet in 200C at 1:30 pm (second floor of the counting house).
