[Hallc_running] [New Logentry] RC daily update

Day shift today is canceled. 

Today is a maintenance day for the accelerator. Currently, all of the south linac (and Hall C) are in Controlled Access while survey and alignment is going in to re-align the beam pipe. It was found to be bowed approximately 5mm toward the wall at the extraction region preventing beam to Halls A,B,C until fixed (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3596823).

In the meantime, we continue to take cosmic data. Condensing of the target is anticipated for tomorrow, but we will re-visit this later today in our Hall C group meeting at 3pm in CEBAF. Howard is currently down in the Hall to check some hot wires on the HMS drift chambers. 

Swing shift crews should plan to show up today at 4pm. I'll post an update on the progress of the beam pipe alignment when I have it. 

We will NOT meet in the counting house at 4:15pm today, but we will meet immediately following the Hall C 3pm meeting in CEBAF (same room). I will dial up the bluejeans connection number there at 3pm for those who would like to join remotely.
