Last night we saw the completion of the RTD install. There were still some remaining control issues this morning preventing us from closing up the target.
Today, the target team is making good progress finishing up the controls, and will do one more test of the target alignment when the heater is on. The main heater control box is fully setup and Ethan is working on the spare. Target ladder controls are fully operational. If today/night keep going well, we will be ready to button-up the target enclosure tomorrow morning.

There were some minor issues with the HMS and SHMS magnet controls yesterday, which were resolved by Mike Fowler and Steve Lassiter.  We parked both spectrometers at 20 degrees for startup and will keep the spectrometers there through the weekend.

If all keeps going well, we should be able to run tomorrow SWING assuming we get all signatures required for beam authorization.

There are still shifts available. Note that TO training is NOT a prerequisite for TO shifts, and you will receive personalized training from the target experts during your shift.
