[Hallc_running] [New Logentry] RC Daily Update

MCC and management decided to move forward with the helium processing of cavities 1L07 and 1L20 in the north in an effort to recover the gradient required to obtain >= 2.1 GeV/pass.  In turn, this will result in the delay of the physics program in Hall-C which is now scheduled to start as early as Thursday, February 7th with tune beam arriving in the hall as early as Tuesday, February 5th.

All shifts are cancelled until Tuesday, February 5th.  We will not have an RC meeting this week.

Tasks to be completed in the Hall prior to lock up:

Aerogel installation (Vlad, complete, light leak tests remain, https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3645382)
HGC pump down, leak test, and installation (Brad, pump down complete, leak test complete, installation Friday 1/25)
Moller magnet cool down test (Dave G., complete, https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3645289)
Installation of lead shielding for J/Psi radiator (Techs, complete)
Beam line and scattering chamber pump down (Dave M., complete, https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3645404)
Target cool down with helium gas (Dave M., ?)
Current load test of HMS & SHMS magnets (Steve L., Holly, ?)
Survey & alignment of downstream big beam line, harps, and target (S&A group, ?)
