So it's been a very good first day as RC, things are running to schedule and beam has been good overnight and into day shift. 

So far the calibration, luminosity scan and heep singles runs have all been completed. Currently the heep coin runs are in progress and should be finished around lunchtime today. When they are done (including the dummy run) we'll switch to Physics data taking. When the spectrometers are being configured for this we will request the beam energy measurement from MCC. They're ready to go on this and informed us to just let them know when we want it, hopefully this shouldn't take long (it appears Jay already has some settings ready - https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3672865).

After that's done the plan is simply to take data, nothing major is planned from MCC until beam studies on Monday so here's hoping we'll have a good end of the week and weekend of data taking!

We'll have a meeting today in the usual time and place, 4:30 in the counting house - Bluejeans Conference ID : 861439920

Hopefully the remote connection will sound less like Johnny 5 from short circuit today...
