[Hallc_running] [New Logentry] RC daily update

We had good beam since yesterday. 

We finished running in the longitudinal configuration around 6 pm last night. The NMR measurement taken right after showed 46.97 % polarization (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3773670). We switched to transverse and took data until 11 pm. The NMR measurement done at 11 pm showed the polarization to be 55.68 % (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3773783). We then went to longitudinal (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3773790) and took data until 8:52 am this morning. The polarization measurement done midway through the longitudinal running was 48.74 % (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3773904). 

At ~8:54 this morning we took another NMR measurement - 46.2 % (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3774023) - and then switched to Reference cell running while rotating the target field for transverse polarization (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3774031). After 3 hours of running on the Reference cell (He at 73 psi) we will do another NMR measurement. Then we will take data on polarized He cell, transverse, for 3 hours. After that we do another NMR, rotate to longitudinal and take data. 

No planned access for today in Hall C.

At the MCC meeting this morning nobody presented a concrete plan of how to address the Hall A beam issues (the plan is being worked out). As of now, we don't know if/how the beam delivery to Hall C will be impacted.
