The PD (Jay) is still hopeful about sending beam to Hall C on Friday day shift although few stars have to align for that to happen.
Ops made progress since yesterday with tuning the machine. Before the start of the accelerator maintenance work this morning Ops was working on the ARC9 match: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3818082. This is not too far off from the schedule posted on the White Board: http://accboard.acc.jlab.org/
The machine will be off for part of the day shift today for maintenance: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3818071
Hall C is still on track for a sweep at 3 pm (from the Hall C side Bill will help with the sweep). After the sweep we will go to controlled access.
There is a pending issue that can impact beam delivery to Hall C: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3817883.
The BSY3C box power supply is not functional right now; DCP is working on it and they hope to have it fixed sometime (late) today. This supply is (also) part of the PSS system so a PSS jumper is being installed to allow the lockup of Hall C after the 3 pm sweep today.
Once the power supply is fixed the jumper will be removed and there will be a re-certification of the PSS (Jerry Kowal is ready to support the certification when it's needed). Hall C will be dropped to power permit for this exercise and the Hall has to be empty (of people). The hope is that all this work will be completed by sometime tomorrow morning so Hall C can receive beam during the day shift as planned.
The Hall is generally in good shape. The last item being addressed right now by Walter and the Hall C techs is the downstream beamline turbo pump that's been tripping in the last few days.
The SoLID Cherenkov parasitic test is also ready for beam.
We will have a RC meeting today at 4:15 pm. Here is how to connect via Bluejeans: https://bluejeans.com/861439920
