Accelerator Status:

Sep 06/07 Swing/Owl (yesterday, today):

RF cavity 2L11-1 CWWT fault not clearing. Cavity was bypassed. (17:24 - 17:48 ) 2L11-1_bypassed

RSEP9A and ARC9A shunt mismatch (6:12 - ??). RSEP9A_downtime

Sep 07 Day (today):

As of 8:45, downtime due to RSEP9A and ARC9A shunt mismatch has been closed. Beam restored to Hall C at ~9:00

9:00 MCC morning meeting update: The PD (Jay) informed accelerator beam studies (tomorrow) Sep 08 Swing 16:30 - 19:30 with beam restoration expected at ~ 20:00.
MCC will not be able to support RadCon access tomorrow for Halls B/C during Swing Shift.

General Hall C Updates:

Sep 06/07 Swing/Owl (yesterday, today):

Mingyu Chen updated the TO training slides with procedure for fitting pNMR, as there were issues with fitting program. See log-entry: pNMR_TO_update

d2n production data-taking continued during Sep 06 Swing, and at 22:04, IHWP = OUT, and will take ~8 hrs of "beam-on-target"

Hall C beam energy drifted 1-2 MeV since Hall A Septum magnet tripped at ~2:30 (Sep 07 Owl). The effect on beam polarization seems to be negligible at first glance, but will need
to confirm with d2n spokespeople. HALLC:p_excursions

Beam Current History during Sep 06/07 Swing/Owl: Sep06_Swing, Sep07_Owl

Sep 07 Day (today):

Beam restored to Hall C at ~ 9:00. Beam profile checks. IHA3H07A, IHA3H07B

d2n production data-taking at IHWP = OUT will resume after beam profile checks / Pol He3 scraping checks are concluded. We have collected ~358.3 min (5.97 hrs) of "beam-on-target" data as of end of Sep 07 Owl.
We still need ~121.7 min. of "beam-on-target" data.
