We had a very smooth and productive data taking period yesterday. Thanks to those who stepped up and took the crew chief shifts at MCC for the Saturday and Sunday owl shifts! We took some data at 7 uA and 10 uA to collect enough statistics for tracking efficiency studies by Nathan (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4034240). Based on the conclusions of these studies (plateau for current vs yield between 7 - 12 uA which dips somewhere beyond 12 uA) we moved on to 12 uA. We had a brief period of SHMS Q1 insulating vacuum alarms which automatically recovered (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4034166). The plan is to continue data taking at this beam current until early swing shift tomorrow (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4034515).

Let's have a brief RC meeting today at 11:00 AM EST.
