Hi Everyone, 

      Dave Meekins finished the target cool down yesterday during the beginning of the SWING shift. The hall was swept and we proceeded back to Beam Permit. Dave found that he was unable to add more power by increasing the JT valves. Dave will work with cryo to address this issue: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4093842

Unable to run on the cyrotargets, the plan was check out the beam and target position and being production data on the solid targets. Before MCC could begin sending tune beam into the hall, they noticed that vacuum was poor beyond the VBV3H08A valve (downstream of the target): https://cebaf.jlab.org/dtm/open-events?event_id=17392

Dave Gaskell checked the turbo pump and the cold cathod gauge controller: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4093845

 Unfortunately when the valve is opened, the vacuum was too poor to run during SWING and OWL shifts. We are currently in Controlled Access. Walter and the technicians along with Dave Meekins are currently in the hall to take a look. Hopefully we will have a clearer idea about what is going on afterwards.
