[Hallc_running] [New Logentry] RC Update and 11AM Meeting Reminder

Yesterday was very eventful for Hall C (and for Hall A). We attempted to do a Beam Energy Calibration beginning at 9am, and for reasons still under investigation by MCC, the beam tunnel and hall were filled with radiation. This caused several hardware failures, including for the target heater and fan to lose power at 11:40 AM due to a UPS power strip being fried. Target on-call was called and Dave Meekins and Chris Keith. Due to the high radiation and ODH alarms going off, we were unable to access the hall until 2pm. Cryo was also concerned about a leak and had turned off the supplies to the target. After the heater and fan were moved to a different UPS at 3:30 PM, we restored cryo and the targets recovered quickly. No damage to the targets is suspected. After a lengthy beam recovery, Swing and Owl finished the CSB data collection and we are in the process of setting up for large angle electron polarity in the HMS. BCM calibration is also planned for this morning.
