[Hallc_running] [Revised Logentry] RC Update

Today accelerator will be focused on getting Hall C to higher currents.  In the morning they will be doing RF work and aperture checks in the linac followed by optics studies in the afternoon.  The PD has scheduled a 3:00 pm meeting this afternoon to access how the work went and decide on what needs to be done next (possible survey of beam pipe in linac on Tuesday??).  

The past 24 hours included some production data which was interrupted multiple times due to various issues.  At 3:30 am, the LCW flow to the hall went to 0 and all the spectrometer magnets and some beam line magnets interlocked.  At 9:30 am the flow was restored and we are currently ramping the magnets back up.  Another issue from yesterday was the noise in the HMS drift chambers got worse yet. An escorted access was required and the issue was partially resolved.   Radcon is currently putting Hall C in controlled access and we will work on the HMS drift chamber noise issues.  The hall will most likely go to beam permit around lunch time for Ops to attempt to reach higher current.

For anyone interested in talking about "stuff", Dave G. will host the 11am meeting since I will be in the Hall.  I will give another update at the end of the day once more is known regarding the accelerator status.
