Hi, everyone,


Yesterday was maintenance day, beam returned to the hall about 1:20 a.m. today (Wednesday, 11/16).  The night crew (Maria and Zoe!) had a productive owl shift, and the day crew (Julie and Florian) finished 10/35 degree production data taking with target ladder 1 earlier this morning.

SHMS was rotated back to 8 degrees.  We attempted to flip polarity on the HMS, but the Q1 magnet didn't want to flip, esctorted access to reset power supply (Dave G and Heidi are went down, and me too - why not).

We will spend most of the day shift taking positron data (hopefully) in the HMS at 35 degrees (and electrons in SHMS)

If you're taking shifts in the next week (especially over the weekend) - CALL INTO THE RC meeting today! Our runplan is fast-paced for the upcoming week, many changes - we will discuss it.

If you're NOT taking shifts - why not?  We're a fun group to hang out with and we offer a wide variety of snacks.

  2.  Day walkers? Well, the next opening is Wed, 23rd
  3.  Swingtastic Shift workers? - This is where most of the availability is: we have openings Thursday/Friday/Saturday (both positions)/Sunday!!!!
