The early part of day shift yesterday was spent completing the recovery of the HMS and SHMS magnets from the cryo event Thursday evening.  In addition, we were down for a few more hours to allow the HMS air conditioning unit to thaw and for the drift chamber gas to flush through the system once flow was restored (see https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4086443 and https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4086536 for more details).

Beam was restored to the hall around 6 pm and we took the last setting for the single-arm elastic running in the HMS and SHMS.  This was complete just before the start of OWL shift, at which time we started taking EMC data in the HMS at 35 degrees and SRC data in the SHMS at 8 degrees on Calcium 48.  We will likely continue this part of the run plan into late swing or early owl shift and then move on to taking additional SRC data on LD2 in both the HMS and SHMS.

There will be no RC meeting today.
