[Hallc_running] [New Logentry] RC Update 11/24/2022

The hall was in Controlled Access for almost entire day shift yesterday to debug the issues with the beamline vacuum https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4089716. When the vacuum recovered enough to turn the turbo on around 15:00, 3H04 cavities were tuned by John M., Nate R., and Seth G. The SHMS HB vacuum gauge for the insulating vacuum was replaced as well. See the entry by Steve L. https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4089826

Beam returned to hall C around 16:30 and we continued taking data on LD2 target with both spectrometers parked at 35 degrees ( x > 1 setting: P_HMS=-4.08 GeV, P_SHMS=-3.57 GeV). We've been running smoothly through swing and owl shifts and making progress at this setting.

One issue the swing shift crew reported was the SHMS 50K replays crashing after run 19221. Maria S. also reported the same problem in the HMS later. I noticed that the standard kinematics file stopped updating automatically. I would like to thank everyone who already signed up and took shifts. We still do need a SL for the Sunday swing shift (Nov 27th). The shift schedule gets emptier for the next week.
