Yesterday afternoon, we completed the SHMS paddle study (results pending analysis) and then moved on to production running at 26 degrees.  We started at the lowest momentum setting (P=1.95 GeV) to check the thresholds in the SHMS electron PID trigger (setting 9), and then moved on to the  highest momentum setting (P=5.42 GeV, setting 1).  This setting is expected to be fairly time consuming, but has also been slowed a little due to some issues with the horizontal separator on swing and owl shift.

There will be some interruption to beam delivery today to replace a flow switch in Arc 1.  The plan for the next few shifts is to continue taking data at 26 degrees.

At the 11 am RC meeting this morning, I would like to discuss the outcome of the paddle study and possible changes to the SHMS electron trigger configuration.
