Continued with 26 degree Q2 dependence data during day shift. Completed overnight and switched to positron data around 8am.

At ~18:00 on Oct 12, all HMS magnets and SHMS Q2 tripped. Additionally many PMTs in HMS hodo 1X and 1Y as well as all HMS drift chamber HV tripped. Everything recovered after ~20 minutes except for the HMS dipole. This occurred simultaneously with a similar event in Hall B. Amy spent several hours in the hall working. The HMS dipole has a valve that would not respond. This was manually set to allow running overnight. (See reference post and references therein for further info)

Radcon began sweeping the hall at 09:00 to allow Steve and Amy to access for continued work to avoid any damage to the dipole.

After this concludes, we will resume the positron study.

We will have the RC meeting at 11:00.
