<b>MCC update</b>
<ul>
<li> Still not a nominal gradient (1047 MeV/pass) in the North Linac:
<ul>
<li>This gradient is needed to ensure high longitudinal polarization simultaneously for Hall C and B.
<li> MCC going through a list of bypassed cavities to try to restore them
</ul>
<li>Beam is now expected not before Tuesday 9/05 not before 4pm.
<li>Note Hall C hot check out by MCC Friday 9/01, 1-6 pm: no access in the hall. 
</ul>


<b> Hall update</b>
<ul>
<li> Some cryo/vacuum issues in the spectrometers over the past few days: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4172735
<li> NPS magnets: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4172689, complete installation on Tuesday morning
<ul>
<li>Sweep magnet: will be energized Friday morning for Industrial Hygiene check (D. Gaskell). The nominal current is going to be  468 A.
<li>corrector magnet: not connected yet. 
</ul>
<li>	Calo status (to-do)
<ul>
<li> drilling new holes (9.5, 8.5 m)
<li> LED checkout 
<li> gain versus sweep magnet (with LED), need calo at 3m from the sweep magnet
<li>gain versus HV (with LED)
<li>need to remove front plate
</ul>
<li>Shift schedule = need owl SL and TO for next week.
</ul>

<b>Rough timeline (TBC)</b>
 red: firm,  black: to be confirmed
<ul>
<li>Frid (09/01)
<ul>
<li>Morning: Hall C check list (pushed back to Tuesday)
<li>Afternoon: MCC Hot check out : Hall closed from 1 to 6pm. Hall re-opens after 6pm
</ul>
<li> No beam on Monday swing 
<li>Tues day shift (09/05)
<ul>
<li> target cooldown to Helium (Dave M.)  
<li>Start staffing control room
<li>Move HMS and NPS to nominal positions ( NPS at 9.5 m and 17 deg, HMS 4.6 GeV, 16.44 deg, TBC)
</ul>
<li>Tues swing, Wed Owl  (using solid targets)
<ul>
<li>MCC wants to demonstrate high beam on dump (50 uA, TBC) - that might be all we get to do that night
<li>Establish beam position (including sweep magnet deflection: run plan 2.1.1, 2.1.2 and 2.1.3, Dave G)
<li>Follow run plan (Charles)-  HMS detector checkout  (run plan 2.1.6)
</ul>
<li>Wed day 
<ul>
<li>Target condensation (can take up to the whole day shift)
<li>Target practical training (Silviu) 
<li>Possible MCC maintenance day
</ul>
</ul>
