Since yesterday, we've completed the h(e,e'p) elastics delta scan and the d(e,e'p)
low missing momentum setting. Currently we are taking data on the 1st high missing
momentum setting (580 MeV/c) at 70 uA !
>From the MCC meeting this morning, beam studies will be tomorrow during day shift (for testing
Hall C energy fast feedback), and on Wednesday will be maintenance day.
If there is anyone who would like to do work in the Hall on Wednesday day shift,
please let the RC know.
We will have no RC meeting today.
----------------------
current run plan
----------------------
We have collected ~411 counts in 10.5 hours of beam, and we expect take 14 more
hours of beam at this setting, as per the run plan, which will give us ~548 counts
for a total of ~959 counts, which meets our stats goal projections. Then we will change
to the 800 MeV/c setting
Taking data at 70 uA will help our statistics at this setting, since
we did the projections at 40 uA. But maybe the improvement is not by much, due to the low
count rate, and the fact we are only taking 24 beam hours at this setting.
Hall A will be back from low-current running after Wednesday maintenance day,
so we only have until Wednesday Owl shift at 70 uA. We can discuss whether we want
to be at this setting until Wednesday, then change to the other setting after Wednesday.
