Morning everyone, just a quick update today.
A brief outline of notable things since yesterday -

Towards the end of day shift, there was an odd cryo hickup.burp. This doesn't seem to have caused any issues but do keep an eye out.

We put the half wave plate in, Paul also then ran the flipper script.

Around the same time as the wave plate switch, Paul and Riad did their adjustments to the IA slope, it looks like this didn't work, see Paul's analysis in the linked entry. Paul has also been monitoring the asymmetry since the HWP change.

EDTM weirdness continues and this could be tied to a wider <a href=https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4214957"> scaler issue. I think this is worth discussing more in detail at our next meeting.

We had a few DAQ issues but the shift crews largely resolved these on their own.

This morning, Ed noticed some odd behaviour with the HMS hodoscope, however, on a different setting this seemed to resolve itself.

The only other notable issue was that we lost beam for ~6 hours overnight (from ~04:00 until ~09:30-10:00) due to a power glitch and subsequent recovery.
We are back taking data now though. We'll continue running at this setting over the weekend, hopefully it'll be smooth sailing for the rest of the day and over the weekend.
We won't meet today and there's no plan for a meeting tomorrow unless something happens that needs imminent discussion. We will meet at 11:00 on Monday in the usual place and on zoom. We will formulate a plan for the maintenance day on Wednesday in that meeting.
Have a good weekend everyone!
