Yesterday was a maintenance day and we took this opportunity to fix some low-amplitude NPS channels (A nice summary - https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4187834).
Heidi and Lars went inside the hall to check some vacuum and cryogenic stuff - https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4187673.
Brad exported an image of the virtual machine that runs go_magnets - https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4187737.

We turned off the HMS magnets yesterday after MCC stopped sending any beams to the hall. When we tried to ramp the magnets up, we noticed that there was a communication error.
Ellen, Joe, and Steve worked on this and completed it around 7 p.m. - https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4187930.

There was some planned work for the PSS system yesterday. For this, they took the hall into restricted access. After the repair and after sweeping the hall, the hall's PSS system dropped again to restricted access. I informed the PD and the concerned person to take a further look into the hall's PSS system.

Finally, we received the beam at the end of the swing shift. The beam was less trippy last night - a big thanks to all the people who worked to accomplish this.
We loaded a new high-voltage setting (hopefully the final one) and continued acquiring elastic calibration data taking.
Hopefully, we will complete this elastic calibration by today and we are planning to move the spectrometer sometime tomorrow (this is a tentative plan now -we will discuss more during the RC meeting at 11 a.m.).
