  RC report - 02/10/2024
  -------------------------------

  The Cold evening... While the data taking did progress smoothly over the 2/9 DAY shift, we experience major Cryo-events in the evening.

  - At about 21:17 the Hall B solenoid and torus tripped for a reason which is yet unclear https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4250279
  - Following Hall B within a minut we lost first Q3 and then the dipole https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4250244
  - Q3 & D recovered smoothly such that we were back in production at 22:40
  - About half an hour later, the loop 1 of the cryotarget alarmed resulting from a cooling capacity loss https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4250291 https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4250274
  - The cryo expert came in and we were back to production at 2:54 https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4250292

  Since then, the data taking is progressing quitely. Hall B is now back in operation since 8:44am.

  Following the yesterday discussion at the RC meeting, the main trigger of the experiment is now single-arm HMS. The dead-time calculation should be simpler. It would be instructive to look at the yield evolution as function of the current.

  Request : please pay attention to the vernier reading when changing the spectrometer angle, some misreading have been noticed.

  Information : the pass change for hall B is scheduled on tuesday morning and should not take more than 1h. Unless vital access, the hall will stay in beam permit.

  -----> NO 11am RC meeting today <-----
