 RC Report - 02/12/2024

 It has been an excellent data taking period with no issues to report but only improvements.

      ABU 86%  -  BNA 12%  -  PCC 2%  -  UED 0%

 HMS Camera : the camera is back on-line, thanks Dave.

 NPS NDX; radiation monitors readback is alive again. Ellen/Sue investigated the issue and did something, probably an IOC reboot.

 Tomorrow is maintenance day from 6am to 8pm.  Hall C will be in controlled access by 9:30am. 

 RadCon is informed and the priority for surveys is: Accelerator, Hall C, Hall B which take us up to 9:30am.

 Known accesses are :

  i) - NPS work team  (5 persons at the same time)
  ii) - Safety Walkthrough (3 persons)
  iii) - Spectrometer support group (Heidi/Lars +1 person)
  iv) - 22 GeV LDRD investigations (Dave + 4 persons)

   09:30am - 03:30pm  i)
   09:30am - 11:00am  ii)
   11:00am - 01:00pm  iii)
   01:30am - 03:30pm  iv)

  NPS pre-work checklist for Wednesday 2/14
 -------------------------------------------------------------

 1) Description of work

 Replacement of the front multiplexer connecting to the front temperature sensors.

 2) Involved individuals

 JLab: Joe Beaufait, Aaron Brown, Larry Carraway, Dave Gaskell, Jerry Nines 
 NPS: Joshua Craft, Mitchell Kerver (or other NPS students)

 3) Tools required
 
 o 2.5 mm hex driver (Josh)
 o Replacement Multiplexor/connector (in Hall C counting house) 

 4) Course of actions

 o Ask MCC to move Hall C in controlled access as soon as possible after the beam is taken away (Crew on shift) 
 o Ask for switching-off the sweeper magnet (Crew on shift)
 o Lock the sweeper magnet out (Dave, Joe)
 o Turn off NPS HVs (Josh, Mitch)
 o Move the calorimeter to 6m (Jerry, Josh, Larry, Mitch)
 o Open the calorimeter box, replace the multiplexor/connector (Aaron, Josh, Mitch)
 o Move the calorimeter box back to 4m (Jerry, Josh, Larry, Mitch) 
 o Unlock the sweeper magnet out (Dave, Joe)
 o Turn on NPS HVs (Joe, Mitch)

 5) Schedule

 MCC is currently planning to stop beam delivery at 6am. The Hall C is expected to be in controlled access at 9:30am.  Beam delivery to halls should be established for 8pm.
