[Hallc_running] Potential downtime of Hall C computers next week

Hello,

We’ve been setting up a new file server in Hall C to replace “cdaqfs1”, which is 10 years old. The new NFS server would be ready next week.
We plan to switch the file server from “cdaqfs1” to the new server “cdaqfs” for “cdaql*”, “hcdesk*”, “cvideo*”, “ccompt1” next week some time.

I plan to reserve Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning for the change. During the time, those machines would not be available. Please let me know if there is a conflict. I’ll send out an email when the change starts and when it is complete.
