[Hallc_running] [New Logentry] RC Summary 19th March 2024

Yesterday during day shift some de-bugging of NPS calorimeter channels took place in the Hall.

Towards end of day shift the NPS calorimeter was placed to 3m. Thanks to the techs for the help and Steve who also checked the new lower SHMS angle limit.

Early on in swing we were ready for beam. At around 7pm we started setting up for production (checking nps sweeper/corrector settings and data/anode current rates). We then proceeded to production data taking for KinC_x50_0b and have been running production since then! Note: we turned off HV for nps cols 0 and 1 for this configuration.

Soon we will be ready to change to KinC_x50_0a and plan to continue production until tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow there will be beam studies for the first half of day shift. Ops will do their MOmod test for hypernuclei into Hall C in the morning, finishing around 10am. We can expect beam off at ~7am.
