RC Update,
Due the vacuum leak and anticipated multi-day effort to fit the leak, Dave
Meekins warmed up the target so we do not need a TO on shift to watch the
target (but can be condensed before beam is expected to return). The HMS
magnets were also ramped down. At the PD meeting this morning, it was
mentioned that there are ongoing discussions about possible paths forward
which would result in a shorter down time. Once I know any additional
details (likely tomorrow), I will provide an update. In the meantime,
shifts remain cancelled.
