RC Report 06 April 2025

During Day shift we took starter the optics calibration with 3% carbon and HMS-Sieve, SHMS-Centered Sieve. At 11:10 ESR tripped, making the cryo targets increase temperature. We got cleareance from Target expert to continue with solid targets. Swing shift finished with 3% carbon and move to +/-5 foil. Owl shift finished the +/-5 foil calibration. Late Owl, started the delta scan calibration. The procedure was delayed due to HMS getting stuck during the rotation to the second setting point (~5:30). We called Ellen and she solved remotely. Same happen this morning and Ellen went to the hall with escorted access. HMS was moving back.

At the time of this report, beam is down, as my understanding, setting the accelerator to deliver beam to Hall B, we are preparing the setup to commissioning the GEMs.

NO RC MEETING. Lack of shift takers has made the experts to cover the shifts, and they need rest to cover the shifts
and moving on the run plan. Nevertheless, there are no changes to the plan, Any question, feel free to call me.
