RC Report 14 April 2025

Pretty good weekend to report when we had beam.
On Friday Day we had RF recovery and maintenance. Some check were done on IHA3H07B harp as well the LAD reference bar was checked. During Swing Holly investigated the gas window entrance of the GEMs (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4353752). No issues were found. 
When beam came back it was nicely centered (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4353735).
We continued with data taking at 0.3uA on LD2. 

Saturday Day was mostly without beam. We got it back during swing and took some runs with different trigger setup. Otherwise production on LD2 with 0.3uA. During Sunday owl, we had 2 HMS Q3 trips which were recovered by the shift crew. Since then we run smoothly with mostly on LD2. We had some special runs on +/-10cm optics target yesterday to understand better GEM tracking.

We still have open shifts starting from Wednesday on.

RUN PLAN
- Take data on LD2 at 0.3uA with GEM and LAD, DAQ setting: Production, During day shift take one data with only SHMS and HMS trigger respectively.

OPEN ISSUES

- Several HMS Q3 trips over the last days
- SHMS angle encoder position is wrong
- Define analysis cuts to estimate counts
