[Hallc_running] [Revised Logentry] RC daily update

Yesterday Hall C went to Restricted Access around 9 am for Hall work during Accelerator maintenance day. The main activities in the hall were:

--> Florian addressed issues with the left PMT of the LAD reference bar and one of the top PMTs on the far right bar of the middle LAD panel

--> Joe/Heidi found the HMS Q3 MPS tripping on overtemp so Joe flushed the LCW lines; HMS Q3 didn't throw interlocks since

--> Steve did a reset of the SHMS and HMS rotation encoder (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4358890)

--> Facilities repaired the access door

We requested a sweep of the hall around 4:30 pm. The hall was put in beam permit before 7 pm (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4358389).

After 7 pm MCC tried to resume beam delivery to Hall C but they were initially prevented from doing so by the 5th pass separator trip. When beam was eventually sent for harp scans around 10:30 pm the beam was too wide in y at 3H07A and 3H07B (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4358509, https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4358510). MCC did work on the beam profile and after some excitement (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4358507) we accepted a beam size under 0.5 mm in both x and y. We moved to checking beam centering on the C-hole target and we readjusted the y position by 0.1 mm in y at both 3H07A and C  - 0.3 mm in the orbit lock became 0.2 (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4358619, https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4358606). By 11:58 pm we got production beam back at 0.3 muA on LD2. We only ran for about 1.5 hours overnight before MCC needed to re-tune the machine. We haven't gotten beam back yet. When beam is restored to Hall C we will check the beam profile with harp scans at 3H0

 en the beam centering on C-hole with a 2x2 raster and then we will move to production at 0.3 muA on LD2.
