[Hallc_running] [New Logentry] RC Daily Update 04/25/2025

During the MCC 8 am meeting, Facilities updated the status of ongoing work. All the breakers are cleaned and inspected. We got an update that contractor inspected the transformer and it will be used again after replacing fuses. There will be no work over the weekend by scaffolding contractor, so they will only start working in the hall starting Monday. Then they will start cleaning the cables and conduit to remove accumulated water, and also fix the sealing.

Even if we get power back in the hall by next week (if everything goes well), it still takes few days to complete the hall check-list (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4363561 and https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4364657) before being ready to get beam. Additionally, target also requires few days to be ready for beam. I discussed with Dave Gaskell and Florian Hauenstein keeping all these things in mind and we decided to cancel all shift through Monday (May 05, 2025) day. The Day shift crew on Monday (May 05) are on Stand by.
