<div class="logentry node-content"><h2>RC update</h2><p>Yesterday, the pair symmetric background measurements at the z=0.5, SHMS at 14.37 deg setting were completed.  Then, during SWING shift 9 of the 11 settings in the elastics acceptance scan were completed, see https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441210.  At the start of OWL shift, the SHMS dipole interlocked due to an increase in the current lead temperature (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4441179).  The next 6 hours were spent trying to recover the SHMS.  Jaimee tried to troubleshoot remotely but ended up having to come in at 2am to make a couple of controlled accesses.  Ellen and Heidi joined the troubleshooting around 4am and the whole team took a escorted access to replace the mass flow controller.  Unfortunetly the repair was not completed before the scheduled beam studies today from 6am - 10am.  Beam studies were completed at 10am, and now Hall C is getting ready to go to restricted acc
 ess for 
 facilities to work on the truck ramp door and for the SSG to continue working on the SHMS dipole. </p><p>Once the SHMS is repaired, and beam returns at approximatelty 6pm, we will take the pair symmetric background measurements at the z=0.5, SHMS at 11.07 deg setting.
