[Hallc_running] RC Daily Update

Yesterday during DAY we completed data taking on z=0.36, thpq=2° and moved on to z = 0.5, thpq = 5.2° (e,e'π+) setting. At around ~1pm we did the luminosity scan with variable fan speeds- two beam currents (60uA and 30uA), at each beam current we took 3 runs, each run at a pump frequency (50, 40, 22 Hz), each run about 5-6 min of stable beam. At 3pm we resumed production data taking. SWING went smoothly. The shift takers are not paying attention to the start of run comments (the sticky note which Ole put up got unstuck so I have it back up again). OWL shift workers noticed the SHMS Q3 LN2 level was occasionally high. Heidi made some adjustments to the control loop and came by the counting house to slightly increase the alarm threshold setting (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4452950). At 6am the shift workers completed the current setting and rotated the SHMS to 16.810°, to start data collection on z=0.5, thpq=8.5° (e,e'π+) setting.

The z=0.5, thpq=8.5° (e,e'π+) setting will be completed by 8/29 noon today and the plan is to move onto z=0.50, θπγ=8.5°. Note- this setting corresponds to page 68 of runplan v42 but we're taking this setting first to avoid an extra angle change for the SHMS as per Peter's suggestion. After this setting is done, we will move onto recover the z=0.50, θπγ=2.0° that was lost due to the SHMS magnets not being set properly (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4451739).

It was also decided to redo the fan speed luminosity tests during DAY today since everyone will be away during the weekend and the recovery will take longer if the need arises.

Updates from the accelerator-
- Pass change from 5-pass to 1-pass is scheduled for Tuesday morning (Sep 2nd). We will have ~2 shifts of pass-1 beam during 9/2 SWING and 9/3 OWL before beam is stopped to the halls.
